The TNC series product is a threaded variant of the BNC connector, designed with screw threads for secure mating. These TNC RF connectors are compact, waterproof units with a consistent 50-ohm impedance, suitable for operation from DC to 11 GHz. There are two types of TNC connectors available: standard and reverse polarity.
These cost-effective connectors typically use die-cast and molded components. While their performance may not match that of industrial or military-grade products, they are ideal for a variety of commercial applications. TNC connectors are widely used in antenna connections and have numerous applications in avionics, defense, communications, and the general industrial market. Reverse polarity and 75-ohm TNC connectors are also available.
